Sada to naravno može sve digitalno da se uradi, ali ranije su ladno bojili sličicu po sličicu filma. Kod filmova se to u početku radilo direktno na filmskoj traci. Znači svaka rolna filma koja je išla u bioskop je morala ručno da se boji, sličicu po sličicu.
