Millions of people are at risk of life-threatening flooding when it plows into the northeastern US, the director of the National Hurricane Center has warned. NASA Satellites See Sandy Expand as Storm Intensifies - NOAA's GOES-13 satellite captured this visible image of the massive Hurricane Sandy on Oct. 28 at 1302 UTC (9:02 a.m. EDT). The line of clouds from the Gulf of Mexico north are associated with the cold front that Sandy is merging with. Pekarman Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 Naravno da su sluzbe, civilna zastita i ostali stubovi drustva ostali u gradu, kapiram da su civili i oni koji se ne osecaju bezbedno sto zbog realnog straha ili mesta na kom zive, ti su otisli dublje u USofA. Sto kaze Pekar, ostali su samo organi reda, vatrogasci, hitna sluzba, spasilacka sluzba i ostali stubovi drustva, a velika vecina je napustila Grad, naravno ima i onih koji ne zele da ostave stanove/kuce.. Zwerko Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) Realno uragan neće sad nešto dramatično oštetiti NY, tipa neće moći dva dana da se šetaju napolju, popucaće neka stakla, leteće krovovi sa nekih lošijih kuća i sl, ali nije da će da se sravni sve sa zemljom. Ne treba ovu situaciju porediti sa Katrinom i Nju Orleansom jer je tamo zapravo najveći bio problem što su pukle one brane pa se grad potopio jer je ispod nivoa vode, takvih slučajeva nema na Istočnoj obali. Kapiram da dižu paniku malo više nego što bi trebalo, ali aj... Edit: Pritom potpuno kapiram ljude koji su otišli iz grada, brate s obzirom da svi u principu lepo žive, tj imaju kintu, deca ne idu u školu, oni ne idu na posao, zašto ne bi otišli na par dana se iskuliraju negde i nemaju stres s ovim što duva i nosi napolju sranja.
