Zwerko Posted July 9, 2015 Report Share Posted July 9, 2015 U potezu za koji bismo bili sigurni da je prvoaprilska šala, da se pojavio 30. marta ili 02. aprila, Logitech je objavio da menja kompletno ime svoje kompanije iz Logitech u – Logi. Zbog čega? Kako kaže Šarlot Johs, VP brend razvoja u Logitechu – “tech ne znači više ništa”. Odnosno kako je tačno rekao: “Tech je svuda oko nas, tech je sve, stoga tech ne znači više ništa specijalno”. Iz ove kompanije smatraju da će promena imena pomoći i da konsoliduju ime na čitavom svetu, jer se u Japanu Logitech pojavljuje kao Logicool, zbog problema sa zaštitom intelektualne svojine. Kada su počeli sa razmišljanjem o promeni imena? Kada su kupili Ultimate Ears, trenutno najbolji Logitech proizvod, još 2008 godine. Tada su i odlučili da mu ne promene imen u Logitech, već da ostane UE, ali i da nešto moraju uraditi sa sopstvenim nazivom. Vizuelno, novi logo je definitivno korak napred u odnosu na stari (koji sada već beleži 34. godinu!) – čistiji je, moderniji i jednostavno prilagođeniji novijim trendovima. Trebalo bi pomenuti i da će ime Logitech, sa novim logoom, ostati aktivno još neko vreme – u pravnom smislu, u korespodenciji – sve dok se ne izvrše sve potrebne radnje kako bi se tranzicija sa Logitech na Logi mogla obaviti bez ikakvih negativnih posledica. Logitech remains the proper company name, and according to Curtis, "whether we as a company completely transition to Logi over the next two or three years is yet to be seen." Also unchanged is Logitech's core business, which consists of making PC peripherals, gaming gear bearing the Logitech G name, and audio equipment under the subsidiary Ultimate Ears brand. The new Logi label will be attached to the company's more experimental and futuristic projects, which Curtis says will include products for the Internet of Things, both "in the home and automotive space." U odbranu bota, RSS iz nekog razloga ne uvlači featured sliku koja je i glavna u vesti a na kojoj je novi logo, već samo ubaci sliku koja je u telu vesti (često takve slike ni nema).
