To je i dalje daleko od realnosti. Svi linkovi gore pokazuju sjajan napredak tehnologije i dokaz ljudske kreativnosti i inovativnosti, i cemu sve mozemo da se nadamo u buducnosti (zaboravio sam sad 'de mi je linak o nano-robotima koji se sad pominju, a trebalo bi da sluze za terraforming nekih buducih planeta pri kolonizacijama), ali nema tu insinuacija o nekakvoj robotskoj mega zajebanoj inteligenciji per se. Ljudski mozak je i dalje neprevazidjen; ima ~10^10 neurona, neverovatno je fleksibilan, i nesto je drugacije organizovan u odnosu na vestacke neuralne mreze. Istina, iako su vestacke neuronske mreze nastale kao koncept kopiranja funkcije bioloskih neuronskih mreza, mnoge od vestackih neuronskih mreza jednostavno nemaju sustinske slicnosti sa bioloskim (koje su, tacnije, organizovane kao hijerarhijske neuronske mreze, ako neko 'oce da gugla). Za sad, postoje samo razni tipovi hijerarhijskih modela mozdanih neuronskih mreza, i to su trenutno najuspesniji modeli u kognitivnim neuronaukama, i svaki model ima svoje fizicko opravdanje za modeliranje neke partikularne kognitivne funkcije. A da ne pominjem modeliranje emocija ili same svesti, kao neverovatno slozenog kvantno-relativistickog sistema (za guglati, ERTAS - Extended Reticular Thalamic Activating System). Ono sto cesto gledamo u filmovima ,a sto je moguce u skorijoj buducnosti (pored raznih robota koji ce obavljati razne dnevne aktivnosti), je neka vrsta kiborga, coveka poboljsanog raznim pomagalima, bilo preko egzoskeleta (ili npr. ovo), ili raznih vizulenih, auditornih i biomehanickih proteza, itd. Sustina dobrog inzenjeringa je u dobrom imitiranju prirode, ona je tu bila mnogo pre nas, i ono sto je ona uradila je i dalje no.1; mozemo samo i dalje da ucimo od nje. Ono sto je sad aktuelno, u okviru mehatronike i robotike, je kreirati robota sa prihvatljivo dobrom vizuelnom percepcijom, i da je u stanju da uci na sopstvenim greskama, kao sto to pokusavaju u Italiji.
