Uveden je u upotrebu sredinom 1942., a do kraja rata je napravljeno skoro 10000 komada. Imao je Shvetsov motor snage 1850hp i maksimalnu brzinu od 650km/h. Bio je naoruzan sa dva topa kalibra 20mm, a mogao je da ponese i 200kg bombi. Odlicne manevarske sposobnosti je pogotovu pokazivao na malim visinama. Najbolji sovjetski as Drugog svetskog rata, Ivan Kozhedub, je vecinu svojih pobeda (62) ostvario na ovom avionu. Zanimljivo je da su neki nemacki piloti koji su leteli na zarobljenim Lavochkinima bili odusevljeni njegovim performansama. Ali imao je i nekih mana, kao sto su problemi sa pregrevanjem motora. Zato smo mi Srbi nebeski narod:). Ovaj avion je naslednik Douglas SBD Dauntless, dive bombera americke mornarice. U arsenal US navy je uveden 1943., a napravljeno je preko 7000 komada. Imao je Wright R-2600 motor snage 1900hp i maksimalnu brzinu od skoro 500km/h. Od naoruzanja je imao po 2 topa i mitraljeza kalibra 20 odnosno 7.62mm. Mogao je da ponese 900kg bombi. Kao i vecina aviona imao je ceste kvarove i probleme koji su ipak uspesno otklonjeni. Ali Helldiver se dobro pokazao u bombarderskim misijama i unistio je mnoge japanske brodove. Smatra se da su upravo ovi avioni bili najzasluzniji za potapanje dva japanska super-battleshipa, Yamato i Musashi. Rad na njemu je poceo jos 1939., ali su prvi modeli usli u upotrebu tek 1943. Zanimljivo je da je glavni konstruktor bio Jiro Horikoshi, covek odgovoran za legendarni Zero. Raiden je imao Mitsubishi Kasei motor snage 1800hp i maksimalnu brzinu od preko 600km/h. Bio je dobro naoruzan sa 4 topa kalibra 20mm. Glavna misija mu je bila presretanje b-29 bombardera i borba sa njihovom pratnjom. Raiden je bio jedan od mozda samo 3 japanska lovca koji su mogli kako tako da se nose sa americkim p-51 mustangom. Ali napravljeno je svega nesto preko 600 komada do kraja rata tako da nije mogao znacajno da utice na ishod vazdusnih borbi. Ovoga puta u pitanju je americki bombarder B-17, avion koji je bacio najvise bombi u ww2, skoro milion tona. Boing je razvoj ovog aviona zapoceo jos tridesetih godina, a u upotrebu je usao 1938. Imao je 4 Wright motora snage po 1200hp i maksimalnu brzinu od 460km/h. Dolet mu je bio preko 3000km, sa tovarom od skoro 3000kg bombi. Bio je dobro naoruzan sa 13 mitraljeza kalibra 12.7mm. Ovo je bio jedan od avina koji je mogao da leti na najvecoj visini u ww2, skoro 11000m. Do kraja rata napravljeno je skoro 13000 komada. Odlicno se pkazao u misijama strateskog i taktickog bombardovanja na Pacifiku, a pogotovu u Evropi. Zanimljiva je prica sa Pacifika kad je pilot B-17 svoj tesko osteceni avion slupao o japanski battleship Haruna i tako postao prvi kamikaza ww2. Od Rafovih aviona upravo je on bacio najvise bombi, preko 600.000 tona. U upotrebu je uveden 1942., a napravljeno je preko 7000 komada. Imao je 4 Rols Rojs Merlin motora snage po 1300hp i maksimalnu brzinu od 450km/h. Imao je dolet od 4600km, a mogao je da ponese preko 6 tona bombi. Za odbranu je imao 8 mitraljeza kalibra 7.7mm. Odlicno se pokazao u svim bombarderskim misijama, a pogotovu nocnim. Prvi let je imao 1942., a u upotrebu je uveden 1944. Bio je najveci i najmoderniji avion ww2. Imao je kabinu pod pritiskom, elektronski kontrolisan nisanski sistem i mitraljeze na daljinsko upravljanje. Napravljeno je skoro 4.000 komada, a koriscen je do 1960. Imao je 4 Wright motora snage po 2200hp i maksimalnu brzinu od skoro 600km/h. Dolet mu je bio skoro 9.000km, a maksimalna visina leta preko 10.000 metara. Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe Jedan od prvih, ali svakako najbolji mlazni avion Drugog svetskog rata. Schwalbe ili Lasta na nemackom je uveden u upotrebu aprila 1944. iako je rad na njemu zapoceo jos pocetkom rata. Do kraja rata je napravljeno skoro 1500 komada. Smatra se jednim od najboljih aviona ww2 u svakom pogledu. Ali zbog kasne proizvodnje, malog broja aviona, teskoca sa odrzavanjem i logistikom nije znacajnije mogao da utice na ishod rata. Od samog pocetka proizvodnje Me-262 je nailazio na probleme. Rukovodstvo je zelelo da se prave klasicni avioni sa klipnim motorima, Gering je imao svoje ideje od konverziji Me-262 u bombarder itd. Ali ovaj avion je se najbolje pokazao kao fighter-interceptor. Luftwaffe je sa njim imao kill ratio 5-1, odnosno 5 unistenih aviona za jedan izgubljeni u vazdusnim borbama. Medjutim saveznici su unistili veliki broj ovih avina na zemlji pri bombardovanjima aerodroma. Me-262 je imao 2 Junkers Jumo turbomlazna motora koji su stvarali potisak od po 9 kilonjutna. Maksimalna brzina mu je bila preko 900km/h i nijedan saveznicki avion nije bio ni blizu tako brz. Bio je dobro naoruzan sa 4 topa kalibra 30mm, a mogao je da ponese i rakete ili bombe. Dolet mu je bio oko 1000km, a maskimalna visina leta 11500m. 1944. osnovana je posebna jedinica Luftwaffea koja je letela samo na Me-262, prva mlazna jedinica u istoriji avijacije. Njen komandant je bio cuveni Walter Nowotny, 5. najbolji as svih vremena sa 258 vazdusnih pobeda. Ali ni oni nisu mogli da ucine mnogo toga. Da bi shvatili kolika je bila saveznicka nadmoc u vazduhu u to vreme evo jednog primera. Pocetkom 1945. ka nemackoj je poletela formacija od 1221 bombardera i 632 lovca u pratnji. Njima u susret je islo svega 37 Me-262. Uspeli su da obore 13 saveznickih aviona uz gubitak samo 3 svoja. Posle rata Me-262 je koristilo Chehoslovacko ratno vazduhoplovstvo, a posluzio je i za dizajn jednog od prvih americkih mlaznih aviona F-86 Sabre. U svakom slucaju Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe je zasluzio svoje mesto medju najboljim avionima svih vremena. Legendarni Stuka dive bomber sa svojim sirenom je bio jedno od najjacih oruzja nemacke propagande. Proizvodjac je bio cuveni Junkers poznat po mnogim avionima i Junkers Jumo mlaznom motoru koji je bio ugradjen u gore pomenuti Me-262. Stuka je uvedena u upotrebu 1936., a do kraja rata je napravljeno oko 6500 komada. Imala je Junkersov motor od 1200hp i maksimalnu brzinu od 400km/h. To je bio takozvani close air support avion, tako da je imao dolet od svega 500km. Nije bio bas pokretljiv pa je zahtevao pratnju lovaca. Imao je 3 mitraljeza kalibra 7.62mm (2 napred i 1 pozadi) i mogao je da ponese jednu bombu od 250kg i dve od 50kg. Ali njegovo najjace oruzje su bila 2 topa kalibra 37mm koji su montirani tek na kasnijim modelima. Upravo zbog toga se Stuka tako dobro pokazala u unistavanju sovjetskih tenkova. Cak se smatra da je to bila preteca cuvenog americkog tank buster aviona A-10. Ovo ne cudi kada se zna da je konsultant pri konstrukciji tog aviona bio niko drugi do Hans Ulrich Rudel. Ovaj legendarni pilot Stuke je jedini covek u nemackoj istoriji koji je dobio Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Golden Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds, najvise nemacko odlikovanje. U preko 2500 borbenih misija (takodje svetski rekord) on je unistio 800 vozila, 520 tenkova, 150 artiljerijskih orudja, 2 krstarice, razarac, battleship i oborio 12 aviona. Medjutim krajem rata kako su Nemci poceli da gube superiornost u vazduhu tako je Stuka gubila na znacaju. Bez odgovarajuce pratnje lovaca ona nije mogla da se nosi sa modernim saveznickim avionima. Ali ovo ostaje jedan od najboljih aviona Drugog svetskog rata.
