For those of you hoping that we'd have a seamless run for the final chapter of the sci-fi television series, I have some bad news for you. The bad news takes the form of the Winter Olympic games, which will cut into the sixth season. While no official broadcast dates have yet been announced, series showrunner Cartlon Cuse has revealed to IGN that ABC will take a time out for the Winter Olympics after the first few episodes, which is tentatively scheduled to begin in January. Lost will take a break and resume the season in early March.
