If there's some higher power that controls my fate, i would like to meet him, shake his hand, then crack open his ribcage and tear out his heart.

However the forging method in the manufacture of the katana results in a extremely hard Martensite edge with a soft but flexible Pearlite core and spine, results in a blade with exceptional impact resistance and sharpness, something not possible to do with a straight edge blade. In tests a traditionally forged katana was able to deflect a 9mm round from a hand gun with out sustaining damage (with the bullet itself splitting in half), and managed to withstand 7 direct hits from a 50 caliber heavy-machine gun before shattering. The same blade also proved impenetrable to an iron-cutting machine(before being shot).Feats due to the sword’s hard but flexible martensite/pearlite structure.

All I've got... All I've got is insane...
