2. Are Google Earth images captured in real time?

No, they aren't. Our images are photographs taken by satellites and aircraft sometime in the last three years.

ali ipak... ovo izgleda lepo...

Google Earth EC contains all of the software features of Google Earth PRO and adds support for connecting to multiple servers and for connecting to enterprise search servers. When deployed as part of a Google Enterprise solution, Google Earth EC is capable of working on closed networks that are not connected to the Internet.

Google Earth EC features:

Fast, fluid interaction (30-60 frames per second).

Access remotely hosted, multi-terabyte imagery, terrain, GIS databases.

Fused display of 3D, imagery, and GIS layers.

Combine up to 256 layers of GIS data in any combination.

Geo-coding — street-level address searching, fly-to address.

Placemarks — easily mark locations with icons of your choosing. Add annotations and hyperlinks. Organize in folders. XML-based format (KML) can be used for integration with other applications.

Dynamic data — create "network links" that dynamical update from the network. Can be used to track moving objects (people, vehicles), monitor sensors, and overlay near real-time weather and traffic conditions.

Custom icons — easily create custom icons for any Placemark from any network-resident image file.

Imagery overlays – from local or network-based data. Automatically combined with network streamed data. Can be described and shared as KML.

Collaboration — share Placemarks and views via email with a single click.

Tours — easily create tours of Placemarks.

Measurement — easily measure lines and areas in 3D.

Display latitude, longitude, and altitude for any point.

2D overview map window.

Full-screen presentation mode is available with hot-key access.

Printing — print high-resolution 3D images up to 11 x 17.

GIS data import —allows direct import into Google Earth EC of "traditional" GIS files. These are ingested and converted into KML. You can open and directly view .SHP, TAB, and over two dozen other GIS files formats. The points and geometry are draped onto imagery, 3D terrain, and streamed vector and point layers.

Raster ingest — geo-referenced imagery files such a GeoTiffs can also be locally loaded. The referenced data is respected and the files drape over the streamed basemap. Non-georeferenced overlays can be easily resized and rotated for correct alignment.

Movie making — export .WMV or .AVI movies.
