McGregor sa druge strane bi u Bondu izgledao kao u onom Pillow talk ripoffu (down with love?) = not good... elem Owen Becomes Bond Favorite Actor Clive Owen has become favorite to replace Pierce Brosnan as James Bond following his Oscar nomination on Tuesday. British bookmakers William Hill have stopped taking bets on who will be the next 007, because customers have staked so much money on Owen following the announcement he's up for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role in Closer. The odds on Owen getting to grips with the suave superspy have been slashed from 4/1 to 5/2, with Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor second favorites with odds of 4/1. A spokesperson for William Hill says, "Owen's nomination sparked a betting frenzy from James Bond fans. Oft-rumored contender to be named 007? January 28, 2005 - MI6 reports that Clive Owen, recently nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor for Closer, may be poised to be named the next 007. The site says an official announcement on Bond 21 could be made as early as mid-February. "If Owen is cast as the next James Bond 007, it is expected he will sign a three picture deal with Eon Productions, with filming of Bond 21 to possibly begin in January 2006," claims MI6. The site adds that, upon his being nominated for an Oscar, London bookies slashed the odds of Owen being named the next Bond down to 4-1. Owen, a long rumored Bond candidate, recently won a Golden Globe for Closer and played the title role in this past summer's King Arthur.
