A ako ste mislili da je to ludo, na aukciji je i grudva "teksaskog" snega :

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) -- Some Texans are hoping to turn a rare snowfall into some cold cash.

A 23-year-old Brownsville man has put a three-pound snowball he collected during an unprecedented Rio Grande Valley Christmas snowfall on the eBay auction block.

Brownsville received 1.5 inches of snow Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, its first measurable snow since February 14, 1895, according to the National Weather Service.

"It's an amazing historical event," seller Oscar J. Garza said. "They've been selling so much stuff on eBay I thought I'd get a good laugh and if I make a little money out of it, oh well."

Garza's ball of snow was going for $20.50 early Tuesday -- plus a $20 shipping charge -- with bidding ending on Saturday. Seventeen people had placed bids so far.

Garza isn't the only one trying to cash in on the wintry wonderland. Another seller was asking $250,000 for a bowl of Christmas snow from Corpus Christi, sold "as is" without warranty. There were no takers as of early Tuesday.

OMAHA, Neb. - A Web-page designer who auctioned off the use of his forehead for advertising space is letting it go to his head.

Andrew Fischer, 20, of Omaha, who put his forehead for sale on eBay as advertising space, received $37,375 on Friday to advertise the snoring remedy, SnoreStop.

Fischer will display the SnoreStop logo on his forehead for one month.

“I look forward to an enjoyable association with Andrew — a man who clearly has a head for business in every sense of the word,” SnoreStop CEO Christian de Rivel said.

“People will always comment on something out of the ordinary,” Fischer said in his sales pitch. “People like weird.”

But there were limits: He refused from the outset to be the conduit for any message or product deemed tasteless or unacceptable in traditional advertising formats.

LONDON (Reuters) - A British man trying to sell a deactivated Soviet-era missile on eBay was forced to delete it after Web site staff contacted him for breaching company rules.

But eBay told Richard Moore, from Cambridgeshire, to remove the missile because he broke eBay regulations by listing it alongside its vehicle launcher, which should have appeared as a separate item -- and not because it was a weapon.

The online auctioneer bans the sale of any ammunition, replica guns or firearms on its sites.

Selling demilitarized missiles however is acceptable, an eBay spokesman said.

"There's a large market in demilitarized weaponry, and they're classified as museum pieces," the spokesman said.

The missile's fully operational launcher is still on offer, at 18,990 pounds ($35,660).

"I guess anything with the word 'missile' in it is sensitive, but as I keep saying to everyone, the missile in question couldn't cause any harm and is literally just the shell," Moore told Reuters.

On his eBay page, Moore describes the Zil 135 Free Range Over Ground (FROG) rocket launcher as the "mother of all toys."

"It's a hugely collectable piece of kit which should have been broken up so there's really not many of them around," he said. Although the missile itself is no longer on eBay, he would still sell it to interested parties.

But Moore stressed he was not an arms dealer just a Russian military vehicle specialist.

He bought both items two weeks ago from a specialist company that provides vehicles for film production.
