Guest Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 ne nagoveštava, nego su lošiju opremu zamenili boljom, otprilike.. pppoe je bolji protokol jer ima manje konverzija, pa bi čak trebalo da sadašnji paketi rade brže za neki jednocifren procenat.. inače, ovo su na novom beogradu već obavili, naravno bez ikakvih obaveštenja.. Guest Posted October 28, 2005 Report Share Posted October 28, 2005 javili su provajderima nešto u fazonu "e prebacićemo na pppoe", al recimo na nbg-u je taj proces trajao bar deset dana.. koliko sam shvatio lika koji to radi, a javlja se na sezamu u konferencijama, morali su za svaki priključak ponaosob da prebacuju.. It also can cause packet fragmenting which will further erode your QoS (Quality of Service), makes it difficult to share your Internet connection with more than one computer and is generally evil. Avoid PPPoE at all costs. (Even the name is poorly formed it should have been PPP/E) There is also a rule of thumb evolving; if the ISP uses PPPoE they most likely over sell their bandwidth. Stator Posted November 3, 2005 Report Share Posted November 3, 2005 Fora kod PPPoE-a je u MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) Kod eterneta njegova default vrednost je 1500 medjutim kod PPPoE MTU ima maksimalnu vrednost 1492. Tako da ako sherujete takvu konekciju imacete puknutih paketa kada oni realno ne bi smeli da postoje. To moze da se prevazidje sa malo twikovanim proxy-ima ali opet to nije pravo resenje.
