DX12 i dizanje prasine

Vidim da se polako dize prasina oko DX12 i nekakvih testova u 3D marku, jedni su najahpovani a drugi kazu nije to nista. Ume li neko jednostavnim prostim jezikom srbalja da objasni sta tacno znace draw calls u ovim testovima: http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/3DMark-API-Overhead-Feature-Test-Early-DX12-Performancei kako se to eventualno reflektuje na realne aplikacije? Po ovome ispada da je 290X egal sa Titan X, to mi je malo neverovatno. Znaci li to da ce 290X sa izlaskom DX12 u DX12 igricama i aplikacijama koje za iscrtavanje geometrije koriste DX (tipa Nitrous u 3DS Maxu) dobiti novi vetar u ledja toliko da moze da se nosi sa Titanom bez da se zakaslje? Da se to na vreme kupi dobar model 290X umesto 780Ti i saceka Win10? Zona sumraka :D

AMD's real takeaway from DirectX 12 will be how its cheap 8-core socket AM3+ CPUs could gain tons of value overnight. The notion that "games don't use >4 CPU cores" will dramatically change. Any DirectX 12 game will split its command buffer and API loads between any number of CPU cores you throw at it. AMD sells you 8-core CPUs for as low as $170 (the FX-8320). Intel's design strategy of placing stronger but fewer cores on its client processors, could face its biggest challenge with DirectX 12.
