  1. Despite numerous rumors around a possible unveiling at the next week’s Geneva Motor Show, we have learned from several sources close to BMW that the M1 Concept (or whichever name will carry) won’t make an appearance at the BMW stand.

    Now that our dreams got shattered, at least for now, let’s continue our coverage on the BMW M1 with a new rendering. Harold Wood from 1Addicts makes an attempt at photoshoping a BMW 1 SeriesCoupe with some of the most common M-brand design elements.

    While not shown here, we learned in the past that at the front-end, the bumper will be larger and more massive than any M-Package we have seen so far, and the usual fog lights are gone. The massive front bumper will allow air to flow for the High Performance Intercooler.

    Like the front end of the car, the rear is wider with a look that is reminds us of the transition between the previous E46 Coupe and the E46 M3. Broader wheel arches will accommodate the larger track and the classic “Ducktail” appearance makes a welcome return with the spoiler now integrated as part of the bootlid, for a more cohesive look and additional aid for aerodynamics.

    As portrayed in the photoshoped image above, the rear valance/diffuser area takes its direction from the standard 135i, but with open ducts for aerodynamic purpose; the duct is separated by typical M quad exhaust pipes.

    The roof of the car receives the typical BMW M Coupe addition of a reinforced Carbon Fibre Roof to help maintain the lightweight concept.

    Two air intakes on the front wings gives the M1 the classic M-look.

    The BMW M1 is powered by an updated/upgraded N55 engine worked on by the M Divison. The 1,500 kg M1 is said to output 345 horsepower.

    The car is scheduled to officially launch in 2011, but we hope to learn more next Tuesday when the Geneva Motor Show’s door will open.

  2. Two years ago at the same Frankfurt Auto Show, the famous German tuner Alpina unveiled their own version of the BMW 6 Series: B6 S Coupe. Once again, Alpina decided to bring out their B6 Coupe model along with many other Alpina models displayed in Frankfurt.

    B6 S Coupe stands out with its aggressive front fascia, the interesting bonnet on the hood and the abundance of carbon fiber parts. The interesting bonnet helps with better cooling ensuring that the 530 ponies are running as expected.

    Alpina B6 S Coupe is powered by a V8 4.4 liter engine which receives boost from a so-called ”radial compressor”, which one may visualize as a combination of a turbo and a compressor. The charging system in this engine differs from conventional solutions: not a turbo but also not a super-charger.As mentioned above, the car produces 530 horsepower and a torque of 725 Nm. Alpina worked closely with ZF to develop the new Alpina Sport SWITCH-TRONIC. The shift durations of the excellent ZF 6HP26 automatic transmissions were able to be reduced by 50 percent. In manual mode the shifts feel comparable in their dynamism to a double clutch gearbox.

    The truth is that the photos don’t do any justice to the car and when seeing the B6 S Coupe in person, you come to realize the beauty of it. Add a matte finish and you’re looking at one of the most attractive bimmers.

Za e60 si mogo da tvrdish da je ogavan jer je to bio prvi model novog (od tad pa nadalje) dizajna, ali posle 3-4 godine dizajniranja ovo polako pochinje da ne lichi ni na shta jer se dodaju linije svih modela po malo i onda to ispadne boze sachuvaj... realno moze ova 5ica mnogo lepshe da se odradi ali kazem vidi se da se trude da idu i istom smeru ali to tako nece ici....

    Ferrari 599XX je test prototip, koji će biti "eksploatisan" u klijentskom programu "Ferrari Corse Clienti". Izabrani korisnici mogu platiti za učešće u test programu novog supersportskog automobila. Brutalni supersportista je već isproban na stazi u Valensiji, a za volanom je bio vozač Formula 1 tima Ferrari, Felipe Massa.

    Spekuliše da bi Ferrari 599XX uskoro mogao biti serijski model, ali Ferrari to odlučno demantuje. Pod haubom radi 12-cilindrični motor, koji razvija respektabilnih 700 konjskih snaga pri 9.000 o/min, i sekvencijalni menjač, koji stepen prenosa menja za samo 0,06 sekundi.

    Novi Ferrari 599XX predstavljen je i na stazi u Valensiji, a za volanom je bio Felipe Massa, koji će se ove godine boriti za šampionsku titulu. U neke protoripove ugrađen je i hibridni sistem, koji koristi tehnologiju KERS iz Formule 1. Podsetimo, deo sličnog projekta bio je i model Ferrari FXX, koji polako odlazi u penziju.

Accorda nisam vozio nikad ali je jako atraktivnog izgleda i voleo bih da ga provozam, shto se tiche njegovog takmichenja sa bmw-om nisam upoznat prochitao sam par chlanaka sa neta o njima pa evo u spojleru sa 2 izvora neka. Ochekivao sam da ovde kao shto kazu upravljanje malo bolje na akordu jer je bmw uvek dozvoljavao odredjenu toleranciju upravljanja zbog da kazem "igranja" sa autom jer kad uzmete takav auto koji ima snage glupo bi bilo ogranichiti ga previshe elem ima onih koji to ne vole...

    1. Maintenance costs

    Honda is better you cost as you pay much more less around 200-400 for minor service and i think would be up to 500-600 for major (i might be exagerating)

    2. Resale value

    Honda is better also, jap cars depreciation is much more better than Greman cars, And honda is in top of the list with Toyota.

    For BMW,

    1. Maintenance costs

    Higher cost, some people do service outside the agency (not recommended except if you are car/mechanical expert) BUT you do maintenancy every 10,000 vs 5,000 for the Honda.

    Cost i think might be in the range of 2000+ each time.

    2. Resale value

    Depreciation is as all german cars, in the range of 15% for the first year and 10% annually flat after that, and when a new model comes it would be 15% percent for the first year also.

    Note that BMW will cost more than Honda and so Dep. is higher in value. and also percentage as jap is less than 10%

    Beemer, it much better car than honda in Luxury, look, style, elegance, and go test drive both... German car is A German Car and this is a Beemer.

    A compact executive car manufactured in five various generations with more than five different body styles, the BMW 3Series has to date been the best-selling car for the German car maker BMW. The 3 Series has been the best-selling car in its class ever since it was released in 1973, at some point even outselling cheaper models and winning numerous automotive honors along the way. In the same car class from Japanese manufacturer Honda Motor Company is the Honda Accord, a family car produced in sequence since the mid seventies.

    Feature comparison of latest models

    The 2009 BMW 3 series is available in four models namely sedan, coupe, convertible and sports wagon models whereas the 2009 Accord doesn’t offer the convertible and coupe models. Performance wise, the BMW is miles ahead of the Accord with all its models powered by a 2.8 liter, 230 horsepower, six cylinder engine with either six-speed manual or six-speed intelligent auto-manual transmission. For the base model of the 2009 Accord it will have a 2.4 liter engine that will on average do 35 miles per gallon of gas but that is a little less than the 3 series, which has a significantly larger engine.

    When it comes to handling both the accord and the 3 Series share tire characteristics but the accord has more agility on the road given its tighter turning circle. For any car owners that do a lot of city mileage this is something to ponder but the 3 Series will give you better value for your money on the highway.

    The 3 Series has got a roomy interior owing to its ampler interior dimensions which gives passengers extra comfort compared to the Accord although you will get more headroom in the front cabin of the Accord but in terms of usefulness, the Honda Accord is more advantageous especially for parents who often need child and cargo space.

    In terms of cost, the more generous basic warranty that comes with a purchase of the 3 Series also make it far more expensive than the Accord, both the destination charge to the dealer’s place and the MSRP.

    Summary:

    1. The Accord is obviously made by a Japanese car maker Honda while the 3 Series is from German.

    2. The 3 Series offers a sedan, coupe, convertible and sports wagon whereas the Accord doesn’t have the convertible and couple.

    3. The 3 Series has a bigger, more powerful engine than the Accord.

    4. The Accord has a tighter turning circle than the 3 Series and also is more agile on the road than the 3 Series.

    5. Overall, the 3 series costs way higher than the Accord and comes with better warranty.

  6. jbg x6 i nije za offroud i odma na pochetku je reko da je kao neka vrsta sport road auta tako da nisam ni ochekivao da se popne bilo gde, inache sam chuo da se na kopu glave ko blesavi ne mogu prodju nigde ne samo x6 nego i ostali iz x serije, moze se reci da je x6 promashaj jer i nema neku narochitu funkciju sem "kupio sam najnovijeg bmw-a moze mi se" al jbg....

  7. Nije problem shto je mali i lichi na golfa problem je shto se spushta na nivo svakodnevno dostpunih automobila tipa fijat i shta ti ja znam...

    shto naravno nije loshe za prodaju ali gubi onaj shmek shto je imao ... jednostavno ce uvek biti bmw=burzuji i izdrkavanja....

Ako cemo u diskusiju, stariji modeli svih vrsta automobila su generalno kvalitetniji nego danas, ali MAJ GAD koji crni citroen msm moze ti biti "mama auto" samo ako si penzos or smth, ali i da sam penzos kupio bih mechku neku nego pustimo to, shto se tiche kvaliteta bmw je u mnogim aspektima kvalitetniji auto par razloga su recimo konfor,mnogoooooo izdrzivljiji motori, mnooogooo startniji motori, mnogo luxsuzniji za velike puteve, naravno ima i mana to je verovatno potroshnja sve ostalo je do ukusa neko voli chvrshci auto neko opushteniji ali generalno ako prichamo o kvalitetu nemac je nemac i tu nikad nece biti diskusije, mozda ce za nekoliko godina prodavati kola na zvuchnost i poznatost imena ali za sada su prejaki.

Vidim da sam se loshe izrazio, shta napadate odma, nisam mislio bukvalno kopija golfa nego jednostavno idu ka dizajnu golfa i tih malih (skracenih pozadi) automobila, po meni gubi se char bmw jer je poznat kao auto sa velikom obrtazom ali takodje i masivne karoserije jer deluje opasnije i zajebanije, samo sam hteo da kazem da ovaj dizajn nije ono shto je bmw nekad bio i da moraju da taj novi dizajn pokriju dobrim motorom bar shto se mene tiche tako sam reko...

    @Niggrola Kad ti budesh bio admin napishi ljudima da ne sme da se napishe mishljenje mozda najbolje ni teme da se ne otvaraju.

  10. Bmw 0 malo me nervira jer je kopija golfa ali jako vidljiva i predpostavljam da se mnogima zato i svidja jer lichi na golfa, ne mogu da kazem da nema lepu i sportsku liniju jer je ima ali nadam se da ce dobar motor da pokrece ovo jer ce ih to izvaditi shto se mene tiche :D
