Although he actually wanted to prolong his active WC3 time, Insomnia now decided against it. During the last five years, Insomnia was a vital element of SK Gaming and one of the first members of their Warcraft 3 squad. Winning the World Cyber Games 2003 in Seoul surely was the biggest success in his eSports career. Insomnia himself released the following statement concerning the matter: I have decided to retire from my Warcraft 3 career and focus on other, more important sections of my life.
