1. QL Duel - Tournament Structure

All players are to meet at #FNATIC.PLAY @ quakenet to coordinate matches and report scores to the ADMINS.

Location: Competing teams must be local to Europe to compete, competitors from outside of Europe will not be allowed to compete.

Format: 1 versus 1

Time Limit: 10 minutes

1.0 Tournament Structure

1.1 The PLAY QUAKE LIVE 1v1 CUP consist of up to 128 spots for competitors.

1.2 A player will get a default win 15 minutes after the opponent failed to show for a scheduled match.

1.3 The tournament will be single elimination in a best of 1 format. Quarterfinals and semifinals will be played in best of 3 format.

1.4 The Final will consist of a single best of 5 round for the championship

1.5 Prizes - The prizes are as follows:

-1st: 100$

-2nd: 75$

-3rd: 50$

-4th: 25$

1.6 Seeding will be determined by admins based upon knowledge of the community and results prior to this cup. There will be no dispute over the seedings. Admins' seeding will be final.

2.0 Map list and map selection

2.1 Mappool

- qztourney7 - Furious Heights

- qzdm6 - Campgrounds Redux

- qztourney9 - The House of Decay

- ztntourney1 - Blood Run

- qztourney4 - Vertical Vengeance

- qzdm13 - Lost World

- qzca2 - Trinity

Map order:

- 1st round: Furious Heights

- 2nd round: The House of Decay

- 3rd round: Vertical Vengeance

- 4th round: Campgrounds Redux

- Quarterfinals (starting map is Lost World, loser picks next map)

- Semifinals (starting map is Blood Run, loser pics next map)

- Finals (both players remove 1 map which leaves 5 maps in the pool. Since finals will be best of 5, admins and finalists will decide which map will be played 1st while loser will always pick next map).

- 3rd match decided will be played in best of 3 style. Both players vetoes 2 map each and start playing.

2. Matchmedia

You have to make screenshots from every match and upload them after the match. Screenshots uploaded only by one player of the match is enough and to spare.

You have to save replay of every match and if required submit it to admin.
