Gledanost popularne BBC-jeve emisije o automobilima uporno pada, a nekada popularni voditeljski tim predvođen Jeremyjem Clarksonom postao je "predvidljiv i previše uvučen u vlastitu gu*icu", kako su slikovito Top Gearovce opisali neki od vernih gledalaca. Pre dve godine Top Gear je lako okupio 8 miliona gledalaca za svaku svoju epizodu, ali ovogodišnja sezona, 14. po redu, nije privukla više od 5,5 miliona. Izvršni producent serije, Andy Wilman, priznao je da je Top Gear bliži svom kraju nego početku i da je cilj svakoga u ekipi da "ovaj avion prizemlji dostojanstveno i elegantno". Wilman je međutim obećao da će do samog kraja isprobavati neke nove ideje i pokušati da vrati svežinu emisijama koje osim Clarksona vode James May i Richard Hammond. To je bilo smeshno jedanput ili dvaput, ali kada se stalno ponavlja krene da smara. I nema vishe onako dobrih akcija kao shto je bilo u proshloj sezoni, naprimer. Quote А в чем сила, брат? He therefore bought himself a classic Jaguar E-Type built in 1969, the same year the Briton was born. The E-Type is considered by many one of the most attractive cars in the world and ranks as the most recognizable and iconic Jaguar ever built. According to autotrader.co.uk, Hammond paid £50,000 for the E-Type which is a 4.2-litre straight-six engine producing 265 bhp. In terms of performance, the car sprints from naught to sixty in about six seconds. The second addition to Hammond’s garage was a £175,000 Aston Martin DBS Volante, one of the most beautiful models of 2009. The DBS Volante is propelled by a 5.9-litre V12 engine developing 510bhp and 420lb/ft of torque. The car does sixty in just 4.3 seconds and it is able to reach a top speed of 191 mph (307 km/h). Moreover, his wife, Mindy also bought him a £10,000 Kawasaki bike, so Hammond will considerably increase his fleet of sixteen cars and five bikes. Chang Li Posted January 13, 2010 Report Share Posted January 13, 2010 npr kad se klarkson i beli dzip obilaze, ovom je tocak skoro u vazduhu a kad se pocne kadar iz daljine vidi se da nije uopste na ivici... barem se meni tako cini, i onda se brzo prebaci na kadar iz jos vece udaljenosti... posto je to jedna od najupecatljiviji scena, to mi bilo odma sumljivo, a i gde ce oni rizikuju da neko izgine... Po njihovim kritikama engleski automobili su najbolji na svetu. BMW, Audi, Micubiši, Honda (etc.) su sve krš do krša. A sve te "krš" marke su kupile celokupnu englesku auto industriju. Po stavu me podsećaju na Mirka Alvirovića i njegove priče kako je Jugo ludilo auto, i kako je Indijska Tata ukrala dizajn restilizovanog Juga koji se pojavio 6 meseci nakon sajamske premijere Tatinog malog automobila. Top Gear sveobuhvatno je dobra emisija i prilično zabavna sa dobrim kadrovima, te ni montažeru nije problem da uradi svoj posao kako valja. Ako bi izbacili lični stav i subjektivno mišljenje mogla bi biti još bolja.
